Earthshot prize have different categories. To start we have nature, the winner is from the Republic of Costa Rica. Her program is to plant a huge amount of trees.
To follow, therer is the air prize, the winner is from India. He has created a cheap, small-scale, portable technology that attaches to tractors in remote farms. The machine converts crop residues into sellable bio-products like fueland fertilizer.
To continue, there is the ocean winner. the winners are from the Bahamas. They have created a coral farm. but unfortunately one year after the creation, a hurricane destroyed there farm; that's why they still needed the money.
Then we have the winner of waste-free. The winner is from Italy. his project is to go to each hub recovers food mainly from supermarkets and companies' canteens and give it to NGOs who distribuate it to the neediest citizens. He then does two in one actions.
Last bit not least, is climate. The winner is from Thailand. The company is called "Enapter provides a clean alternative. Its AEM Electrolyser technology turns renewable electricity into emmission-free hydrogen gas. Developed quicker and cheaper than once thought possible, the technology already fuels cars and planes, powers industry and heats homes." That was the description on the Earthshot web site.
